TREE HOUSES: Authentic Design & Natural Elegance
Kanopi House offers five wood-frame, one and two bedroom, peak roof bungalows built in the island classic style. Wrapped in shuttered doors and windows, each opens almost entirely into the natural splendor of the jungle. Interiors are a blend of colonial and West Indian design, the atmosphere one of easy, island elegance. Accented in artwork and textiles by local artists, each graciously appointed tree-house is outfitted with a lounge that opens onto a sheltered veranda or ‘walls’ of French doors that open to allow the outside in; indoor and outdoor showers, and galley kitchen stocked with essentials such as cold drinks, light snacks, good wine and Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee. In lieu of television, rooms are equipped with Bose docks and iPods loaded with a stylish and international selection of music running Mozart to Morcheeba.
